The story of Ashok Mill began with a simple bicycle, a bundle of sarees, and the determination of one man who believed that honesty, hard work, and strong relationships could build something meaningful.
Many years ago, our founder, Mr. Ashok, started his journey by travelling from village to village across Maharashtra, carrying sarees on his bicycle and personally meeting customers. With limited resources but unwavering dedication, he built his business one customer at a time.
The early years were filled with challenges. Long journeys, changing weather, uncertain sales, and countless obstacles tested his determination. Yet, his commitment never changed. He focused on providing genuine quality, fair pricing, and honest service, believing that customer trust was the foundation of long-term success.
Over time, that trust became the driving force behind the business. Customers returned not only because of the quality of the sarees but because they knew they could rely on the person behind them.
Growing with Family Values
As the business expanded, Mr. Ashok's three sons joined the family business, bringing fresh ideas while preserving the principles that had guided it from the beginning.
Together, they strengthened the company's wholesale network, serving retailers across more than 500 towns and villages and building lasting relationships with over 5,000 retail partners throughout Maharashtra.
These decades of experience gave us a deep understanding of customer preferences, regional textile traditions, and the importance of delivering consistent quality.
